Montserrat Natural Park Arriving in Montserrat Natural Park, you will be able to marvel at the extraordinary rock formations in the mountain created by erosion caused by atmospheric agents, making the mountain of Montserrat unique in the world. The summit of the mountain provides breathtaking views of the whole region.
Sanctuary (monastery, basilica and the chapel of the Virgin of Montserrat) Going up the mountain, reaching the Sanctuary of Montserrat at 725 meters above sea level, you will visit the monastery. Its origins date back to the year 1025. Today around 80 Benedictine monks live in the monastery.
You will also visit the Basilica, where you can go inside the chapel housing the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, the patron saint of Catalonia, commonly known as “La Moreneta” or the Black Madonna due to its dark color.

The Children’s Choir The Children’s Choir of the Monastery of Montserrat is very well known. It consists of 50 child singers who are also educated in the monastery. Depending on the time and day chosen for the excursion, you may be able to enjoy a performance by the children’s choir.
Return to Barcelona You will be dropped back to your hotel or the meeting point.
