The Columbus Monument
Situated between La Rambla and the sea, next to Les Drassanes (the shipyards), the monument to Christopher Columbus was built to commemorate the explorer's return from America to Barcelona, where he was received by the Catholic Monarchs.

Admire the water, light and music show. The original fountain was built in 1929.
