The first stop is the town of Ripoll, at the foot of the Pyrenees, and a visit to the Monastery, an important cultural centre during the Middle Ages, with a large collection of manuscripts.
The tour then continues to Ribes de Freser where you will ride the rack railway up to Vall de Núria, 2,000 metres above sea level. This is the only way to access the valley and it offers some spectacular views along the journey.
Surrounded by mountains that reach almost 3,000 meters above sea level and with an unquestionably beautiful scenery, Vall de Núria is renowned as a place of pilgrimage. Its sanctuary venerates the virgin of the same name.
After arriving at Vall de Núria, there will be a tasting of some of the delicious cured meats produced in the area and the liqueur of Núria, as well as an introductory guided tour.
You will then have free time so that you can visit the sanctuary or choose from one of the many outdoor activities, such as a stroll around the lake or along one of the many marked trails.
