Waterfront
Port Vell: This port is separated from Port Olímpic by long beaches and the old fishing neighbourhood of Barceloneta.
The Columbus Monument: Built in his honour in 1888, the monument is at the bottom of the famous La Rambla.
Les Drassanes: Les Drassanes of Barcelona are considered the largest and best-preserved mediaeval shipyards in the world.
World Trade Center: A unique building with a modern style that recalls the bow of a boat facing the sea. This is the most visible point when arriving in Barcelona by sea.
Montjuïc
Mirador de Miramar: This terrace is a balcony over the Mediterranean with spectacular views of the port and the entire city. The coach will stop here so that you can take a walk and enjoy the best views of the city.
Anella Olímpica (Olympic ring): Here is where the main sports facilities of the 1992 Olympic Games are located. The complex includes the stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi arena by architect Arata Isozaki, the INEFC (National Physical Education Institute) by architect Ricardo Bofill and the Santiago Calatrava telecommunications tower.
Poble Espanyol
Are all Spanish towns the same? You can see the amazing diversity at this open air museum that was built in 1929 and has replicas of streets, squares and buildings from around the country.Don’t miss the artists and craftsmen!
You can watch them at work, synthesizing traditional crafts with modern design: glass, ceramics, jewellery, fabrics, etc.
There are also many bars and restaurants, you will have about 45 minutes to wonder around and have lunch.
